About the position: The Extragrams Announcer is there to be fabulous, supportive, and to make both the client and performer feel taken care of and on track. They coordinate with both parties, handle music, act as security and take photos.
The announcer is what makes us stand out as a service so that the performer doesn’t haven’t have to coordinate or worry about sound. We are also there to be of assistance, helping with performer’s outfits and encouraging the clients to have a great time. They head into the event first, megaphone in hand, to get attention of the party.
Announcers might work one off gigs or a few back to back in a busy day! The gig involves communicating with the client, the performer, and making sure supplies are ready for every Extragram.
This job is flexible and great for folks with existing positions, full or part-time, who wants to get paid for a little extra pizazz in their life.
This is How we do it!
We will load you up with all supplies needed such as speaker, megaphone and clack fans. Because we are investing in setting you up with all the equipment, we want to make sure you will have the availability and flexibility to take the gigs.
Drag telegrams are quick, and depending on the package, last between 10-30 minutes.
The day of each extragram you will handle the texting of both parties, show up to the Extragram prepared with supplies, head in to the party and announce the performer!
The announcer closes out the Extragram with a photo and follows up with client. It's a fun job that requires a bold, fun, yet organized, personality.
